girl advice: what would you do about this girl?

Hey,
Im a 23 year old a guy, I've known a girl from college since I was about 20.
She is really goodlooking, nice, friendly, and smart. We get along well, but we aren't close friends. We hang out occasionally, get coffee etc.
In may she told me in a text mesage that she liked me as more than a friend. I denied liking her back, saying I suppose I just see her as a friend. I am really shy about it, because i've never had a girlfriend before and I don't really know what to do.
Last time I saw her was in August for her birthday, we had a group dinner.
IT was my birthday last week and she remembered even though I dont have facebook and messaged me and sent me a shooting star birthday e-card to my email.

Anyway- about an hour ago I go this text from her:

Hey nick, how was your birthday? I've been really sick for the last week, its exhausting. Pretty much just eating choc chip cookies and staring at my computer screen. Can you please send some pink flowers?

What do I do?

send some pink flowers with a note attached asking her on a date = "meet me at ______ at ______pm" or "Wanna go on a date with me? I'll pick you up at _______pm"

She obviously likes you, and since you say you like her too, go for it.

Firstly so you don't like her back still? shes attention seeking. But either send her flower or just ask why?

well you could ask to meet her
# when you meet her you could be holding a dozen pink roses or her favorite flower
# tell her how you feel and don't be scared

send pink flowers. You like her and she likes you. She's even telling you what she wants. If you want to date her send a card too saying that you hope she gets better and asking to go out sometime. She's giving you an opening so don't let it pass. Good luck
