Depends on the group setting. Some groups are "Secret" and will not show up, others are public or private and will still show up, but the other person may not be able to join.

It depends on the group privacy and also your account privacy. If you put 'only me' or the group is secret no one will be able to see

What the others said. If you want to check, create a fake account and go to your own profile and check what you have access to.

Yes. If a group is open (many if not most are open), random people would see a list of members on the right side. They can look you up on the list.

Also, your posts on the open group's wall will be visible.
