ok so facebook keeps changing things and i don't like it. how can i switch back to the old profile?

deactivate your prof (not cancel), then reactivate it.

You can't switch back to the old FB profile but you can get rid of the new one: delete your account.

Unfortunately there is no way to switch back to the old design after you upgrade to the new Facebook profile. As Facebook is implementing this change gradually, sooner or later all the users will have the new profile, and there is no way back from it.
