I want to stop a person from posting on my timeline but i dont want to delete him?
If i go to privacy settings, blocked people and apps, and put him on my restricted list, will it delete him from my facebook or just make him not able to post on my timeline?

You can't stop any of your friends from posting on your wall. That's why there is a block button. It's only facebook, he should understand. Should.

the restricted list just prevent him from seeing your status updates, likes, and comments
it doesnt prevent him from posting stuff on your profile there is no way to prevent a friend from posting on your profile |

Go to one of his posts, there is an option nearby to hide all posts by ....
|
