I did because the public breakups and drama were getting quite unbearabe. Also seeing people and their dogs dressed in matching outfits was making me ill. Also I just quit caring what my high school friends were having for dinner.

Anyone else done with the madness?

I'd love to hear why others quit so I don't feel so alone in my social loserness.

I have deleted my accounts many times for simillar reasons but I usually end up coming back after a few months since it's so damn hard to stay in the loop and keep in touch with and communicate with friends without it.

I'm about to! I keep seeing photos of things that really should be kept private or are inappropriate for Facebook. I mean, who takes a picture of a little girl at her own funeral while in the casket? I'm slowly losing hope for some people out there. That's all I have to say, hopes this helps!

While I would like to quit, I think it's been quite beneficial these past few months. I'm moving to University next year and it's good to keep track of where I'm living and to see the type of people who I'm going to be sharing accommodation with for the rest of the year, as well as people who are going to be on my course and the type of activities that the social squad are going to be putting on. I realised that without my Facebook, I would be feeling a bit lost.

I quit because I couldn't comment on someone's status without someone else making me seem like a jerk.
And because it was causing a lot of problems with me and my boyfriend.
And because I felt like my IQ dropped everytime I read someone's status.
