How to get more traffic to my website?
So I have been helping people resolve software issues with their Apple device for about 2 years now and I am pretty good at it. I have very rarely found an issue that I couldn't be resolved and if I can't resolve it It is usually related to a hardware issue. I have started charging a fee of $10.00 to fix their issues which is basically holding their hand to guide them through each step. Often I find that users don't know how to get started on certain task and just need basic instruction while others have error messages that they need to know how to resolve. I know Apple will charge $29.00 for one time assistance, I'm only charging $10.00 and I don't read from a user manual instructing how to resolve I been doing this for about two years now and I own several apple products. I will only troubleshoot the Apple iOS devices such as iphone, ipad and ipod touch right now. My questions are, is $10.00 too high of a fee to provide support? my second question is how to get more traffic to my site without google ad words? Google adwords are great but everyone who clicks on the site doesn't call and unless I raise the price for support I can't continue to advertise on google. I am also having problems with getting yahoo to verify my site. Anyway any tips are advise is greatly appreciated. A few more details:
I've had the site about a month.
I did currently do a giveaway to try to generate more traffic
I created a facebook page
I let everyone on Twitter know
What else can I do? Thank in advance all.
I have also handed out flyers in my neighborhood. I do get a few calls from locals.
I also advertised on e-bay but didn't think about craiglist. Can I advertise my service on amazon as well?

find as many different sites as you can, try craigslist... even websites like yahoo, just make posts on websites saying that you do this. Hope this helps! Smile

Google Adwords is one of the most expensive, and as You mentioned there is NO profits guaranty.
I think You should focus(at the beginning) on free and targetet traffic at same time trying to improwe your google position.
