My boyfriend's ex still putting their picture as facebook profile?

So I am seeing this for over a month. His ex still friends with him on facebook and her profile shows that they are in relationship (with direct link to his profile) and she changes her profile picture every week with new pictures of them together .
He still claims she is not over him.
Is he lying?

You should try trusting him, he hasnt done anything yet so just see what happens. his ex could be a crazy person who cant get over what she lost and just adding new picture on there to mess things up.
you just have to trust me for now.
