Does installing a launcher void the warranty?
I installed the ADW Launcher (and a few other common apps, ex. Facebook & SoundHound) on the first day I received my HTC One V (virgin Mobile) and the next day my phone broke. I tried exchanging it for a new phone, claiming that it was defective, but BestBuy told me that downloading and installing a launcher voided the warranty. I read through the manuals that came with my phone but there is a lot of non-specific legal speak.
Can any one tell me if downloading and installing the ADW Launcher or any other type of launcher voids common cellphone warranties (or if possible the HTC One V for Virgin Mobile warranty)? (If you need more information on how it is broken just ask. I didn't feel that it was necessary, though.) Ads |

a launcher can be easily uninstalled, it does not void your warranty. It you you rooted the phone, that will though.
