What is a safe, fast proxy browser for Facebook?
Every one I try either seems to have invasive ads that mean you can't browse Facebook properly, or they take over a minute to load a page. Do you know one that is safe and fast and doesn't have really invasive ads?
Please don't just post a list of proxy browsers, I would like to know which ones you have actually used and which worked. Ads |

Given that proxy browsers are designed to bypass the internet security settings that are set by IT staff in a school or work place I would say that no Proxy Browsers are safe otherwise why block the sites your trying to get to?
edit: WOW a thumbs down , I wasn't expecting that Ads |

Oh so you want to give all your personal information away on a plate do you?
People who set up proxies just wait for gullible people like you to use them! Read this http://www.personalvpn.org/danger_proxy_servers.htm |

There is no safe proxy browser.
By using a proxy browser you're giving the operator of the proxy browser access to every piece of information you send to facebook including your user name and password. Proxy browsers are usually used when you want to bypass security restrictions in somewhere like a place of work. Be aware, that not only are you risking someone hacking your facebook account, I guarantee that, if it is your work that you're trying to use the proxy browser in, they can see what you're doing and they'll be able to track exactly what you do. Proxy browsers are a huge security risk and most places will watch for people using them. The best suggestion is to only use facebook directly in a browser like firefox or internet explorer from a computer that is your own. Alternatively, use an iPhone or something similar. |

Proxies are really not very good at all and they get blocked all the time as you probably know. Plus they have issues with many web site features that make them useless.
The number of proxies run by hackers is also growing daily and you risk your computer and more using one that claims to be anonymous. Plus they are easy to break and leak information. The only proxy I've found to be somewhat useful because it changes IP's daily is http://www.wildtunnel.com. It is a limited proxy and only works with a few sites. But it seems to work most times and is safe to use. The better approach is the Personal VPN which unblocks everything, encrypts your entire connection for security, and doesn't get blocked daily. Plus it works on all web sites and all applications including flash. http://www.surfbouncer.com. Or you can email them at unblock@surfbouncer.com |
