Why dose my facebook picture pop up on other sites?

I have a facebook... and when im on other things even my myspace, i see pop up things like ads and my pics on some of them??? how can i change the setting so my pictures not all over the internet???

that happens to me sometimes. Its not really there for the whole world to see I believe. I think its just on that computer. Maybe you had your facebook or myspace thing opened during this time and it just so happened that the ad you saw sponsered something from facebook or myspace and since you happened to be on, to make it more interesting, they matched it up. i don't think there's anything to worry about though
