Inappropriate Boy Scout leader....I don't have a clue what to do?
I'm a co-leader for my sons Boy Scout den. The leader is a mom from that same den. I have stayed professional and encouraging to the kids, but there's a twist. I don't think that the other mother needs to be in that position. I haven't said anything cause I don't know what approach to take? I don't think she a good example. She shows up to the meetings in the Scout Leader top, super tight slacks and stiletto heels. She looks ridiculous, lol. But it's still not a good example how to wear the uniform for the boys. I created a private group on Facebook just for the moms of the den, so we can keep up with all events. I'm too embarrassed to add anyone cause I don't want them to see her profile pic and the posts she adds. Her profile pic is her in nothing but a bra. She always makes posts, like: "I'm lying in bed, wishing I were somewhere else". You can imagine what kind of responses are left. Also, she is the single mom of 2 boys and she's not very nice to them in front of everyone. She's always telling them to shut up, I'm going to hit/spank you with _____ (whatever object is near. Last time it was a spatula) and covering their mouths with her hands when they are crying about something.
I wouldn't want to leave my son alone with her at a camp out or den outing. I can see the look on others faces when she acts this way too. Any advice?

Just tell her or find a different troop. Also telling her on chat would probably be easier than in person.

I would send her picture and your concerns about her appearance and comments along with the addy to her Facebook page up the line at the district Boy Scouts Council to start and go higher if necessary but they should take care of it.

I'd be blunt with her and tell her you don't feel she is a good leader let alone a good mom. Let her know you have seen her posts and let her know that other mother's, parents wouldn't want their kids around her either. Some people have to be BLUNT
