Do apps like Facebook that use internet on the iphone use data?

I have apps like Twitter and Facebook and other ones that I know use the internet, and I assume they use data if they use the Internet, but I just wanted to check. Also do maps use the internet/data?

Yeah evering on the internet uses data there is nothing which will not use data. Also maps will use data (more than just twitter or facebook)

Yes Facebook does bc technically it's an internet app. Maps don't though.

Anything that uses the internet & is done using 3G/EDGE/GPRS will be charged for under a data plan. Over wifi, no.
