I get followers by following anyone who follows me and anyone I know or I'm interested in. Just keep following people and about half of them will follow you back.

When u follow people, they are more likely to follow you back if you tweet them (they will see your tweet in the @ replys bit even if they don't follow u). Most people like followers who they can communicate with.

Another good thing to do is to comment on tv or news events and hashtag it eg - about #corrie . If it's trending other people click on the hashtag and see your comment along with all others on the subject. If your comment stands out, you can gain new twitter pals that way.

Well getting more twitter followers isn't easy. It's actually harder than getting youtube views in some ways.

You have to:
1. Post interesting content every day
2. Follow trends properly
3. Link your networking accounts
4. Find your niche
