Some of my Facebook friends' status never show up on my news feed?

Hi, I have a couple of friends on facebook who I'm never able see their facebook status updates on my news feed. They just don't appear. I have to click on their profile to see it. Anyone have any idea why this might be happening? Might I have accidentally done something? They're definitely not on my blocked or restricted list....

not everyones statuses show up in your news feed. its usually the most recent statuses or pics that show up the most in your news feed. but also the people who you associate the most with's statuses or activity will show up at the top of your news feed whenever they post something. and if you can see their status on their profile then they dont have you blocked or restricted or anything

If u want to show thier Status Update, Photos etc. Then add them to "Close Friends" List. If your Friend Post something you get a notification for this....It works 100% without any doubt..!!
