My friend can't find me on Facebook even though my privacy settings allow anyone to search for me. Why?

I have gone through every single Facebook setting section. I made sure everyone could search for me, view my profile, etc. My friend let me go into his account to test searching for my name and it did not show up in the search. I also tried putting in my email address (for the email search) and that gave no results. Please Help.

go to your settings (at the top) and click on privacy settings. then click on search. you probably have it so only certain people can find you. it comes in handy when you don't want random people looking you up but if you want your friend to find you, you might have a problem.....
