I like this guy, Apparently he likes me back but he has a girlfriend...HELP!?

Ive liked this guy for a while he always texts me first unless im asking him a question we put two kisses. We talk on facebook sometimes he knows i like him i told him a while ago he told me that he loves his girlfriend and that hes really sorry but we have still stayed friends since then and we still text alot. He always writes on her wall about how much he loves her and tag her in pictures of quotes about love and she doesnt like of comment on the picture. My friends told me that he told them that he likes me they wont last because there always edging to breaking up and they have been on and off for a while? i go to an all girls school and i just got out of a long relationship (with a boy) i go to youth group thats where i meet all the boys my friends go aswell so yeah should i hold it out because i really like him?
