You either go to the Introducing Timeline page and click "Get it Now" (which is at the top of the page), or if you don't have that option then they as they are rolling it out incrementally it may not be available for new users, therefore you have to wait until you get the "Get Timeline" option at the top of your page.
Have you tried going on a friend's page who has timeline? There should be a link at the top of their page saying "Get Timeline". |

Okay so this could be a bit hard for you but lets give logic a try!
1. You had an old account that you had to delete 2. You then created a new account So think very, very hard and try to work out how the old account is linked to the new account? No link???? So then how do you expect the old data to be retrieved? |

Try a CCleaner...it will delete all your past downloads, and any sites you visited and downloaded. CC will clean your cache, cookies, etc.. anything on your computer you didn't need. Seem like the website recognizes you still have time line installed on your computer somewhere. Also try opening up your registry, click "run" then enter REGEDIT then enter. Should bring up you registry values, go to edit and scroll down to find, then enter timeline and delete them all. Then reboot your system and see if that helps you!

The Only other Way to Get it would be to go to someones profile that has it and click on get the timeline if it doesint appear than your going to have to wait til its enabled or til your forced into it pretty soon all profiles will be on the new timeline

Many users reported that they still don't have the green button to upgrade to Timeline. Some of them tried different browsers and computers but the button still wasn't there. As members from the same family using the same computer had different results, this can only mean that the upgrade is not yet available for some users.
A good way to go about it is to try once a day until the button appears. |
