How do you make your friends list private on Facebook?

I would like to make it so friends can not see whom I am friends with.

Facebook has updated their privacy settings since the last time I had an account. I can't find any questions already on here that seem to be up to date with the resent changes.

On the top right hand corner, click the "account" menu, then "Privacy Settings" .
You will see these ->

Control basic information your friends will use to find you on Facebook. View Settings

Click the "view settings" option.

There you will see this option

See your friend list

This lets you connect with people based on friends you have in common. Your friend list is always available to applications and your connections to friends may be visible elsewhere.

You change the settings to "Only Me" there.

It is easy to do. Just go to the privacy settings of facebook and you can see a lot of options to make whatever you want as private.

Go to your Profile -> there is a small icon on Friends, click on it, Friends settings will come. Edit as you want.
