Girls think I'm cute but my friends call me ugly?

My friends usually always call me ugly. When we are just talking about someone we hate, my friend just says "I know ugly, look at him" and points at me. Not only that, when someone asked me how does my sister look, one of my friends said she looked like me, then everyone started looking at me with a disgusted face and such. And even my friend called me "An ugly fucker" and sometimes ask me "Why are you so ugly". I just reply "Thanks.." as in I get really offended

But quite a few girls think I'm cute. For example, I usually get called cute on those Facebook TBH's and questions things, and girls even said in person "Aww you're so cute". Not only that some girls stare at me in the hallways when I pass by them.(If I were really ugly no girl would call me cute on Facebook where they don't have to..)

My friends calling me ugly is really lowering my self-esteem and actually preventing me of getting any girls. Now I'm starting to actually believe my friends calling me ugly and now I'm really self-conscious about my looks. Personally I don't think I'm ugly, but even though I don't, I'm starting to believe I really am.

What should I do? I don't want to hear stuff like "Looks aren't anything", I want to hear why they would say these things to me, if they mean ir or not..
It's not whether I care or not; They are lowering my self-esteem which is also preventing me of getting girls(I'm scared of talking to girls ,etc)

No offense meant to anyone here, but unless you're gay do you really WANT a bunch of your guy friends oohing at you and saying, "Oh, isn't he CUTE!!! He's just the cutest thing! I wanna take a bite out of THAT!!!!"
Are you getting it yet - you don't WANT guys telling you you're cute. They're going to be manly men and punch you in the shoulder and say, "ew, you're ugly, dude." What I don't get is why YOU don't get that. I'm not a guy and I can see that far. As long as you're liked by the ladies, what does the rest of it matter? If anything, they're going to be jealous.

Honestly dude who cares what they are saying. Obviously you are not trying to attract other guys so that alone proves that their opinion shouldn't matter. If girls think you are cute then that's all that matters, because girls are the ultimate goal, not your friends'.
