Question: Am getting a phone on contract?
Soo, this is my first time of getting a phone on contract.. Am getting A BlackBerry Bold 9900 in white... And i have a few questions about my tariff? Soo my network is going to be orangee :/ :/ ...
And am going to have it for 24 months/2 years.. And am getting it from carephone warehousee.
Theres three tariffs,..... Am trying to decide between two tariffs..
1. 200 Minutes, Unlimited texts, and 100MB of blackberry data.. - P.S does the data mean, internet or memory on your phone? --- Coz i might mistakenly, be thinking its internet when its not Confused.
2. 100 minutes, Unlimited texts, and 500MB of blackberry data.,
Soo, i was planning to get 1. but am stuck whether 100MB is enough of internet data.. Basicallyyy,, i will be using internet in my house (but we have wi-fi), so that does that mean it will charge me for internet?. And am planning to use internet in school (not sure if school has wi-fi :/), but for school altogether it will probably be 25minutes of internet :/. And i might use it outside, but not that much... And i do check up on facebook a lot. And i want to download apps, on my phone. (If i download it at home, will that charge me internet?) i got wi-fi at home u see. And i might want to upload my pics on facebook, using phone... But if it does take a lot of internet, ill make sure not to do it Tongue. ALSO,, bbm don't cost internet or anything rite??....

Am okayy with the 200minutes, because am not really a 'talkyy' girl, am a texttyy one Tongue. And seeing if i got bbm i don't see a problem... I guess i just have a problem about my internet, am stuck whether its enough or not? .

And am going to be having the phone for like 2years,, sooo maybe if i do need more minutes or internet... Can i somehow call the people and sayy, can they raise my contractt up?.

Anywayy.. I think thats itt??? Thanksss,♥

...................... If you don't think its enoughh of internet, you could tell me to go for the 500mb. Tongue
Ohh, yepp i will be playing on my apps/games ... Also at school aswell... I will be listening to music, but i will download them... Doesn't cost internet right?. Might play a few youtube clips then and now.//

BUT... If i use everything that needs internet-use at home, it doesn't cost any internet right??.

It depends on what you want to use the internet for music uses less data then playing a game does and you could be using a lot to brose the internet. If you think of MB as time spent and data used to give you what you need then 100mb does not sound like a lot of data. the best people to Speak to are the sales staff at the carphone warehouse as they will be able to tell you as they are really informative about these things It is no good getting into a contract if it is not what you want Good Luck.

Basically, my advise to you is DO NOT GET A BLACKBERRY FOR 2 YEARS. I'm being serious, every single friend of mine who has had or has a blackberry hates it and cant wait to get a decent touch screen phone.

If you really want a Blackberry then an 18 month contract or less if possible as you can upgrade just after a year.

Don't go for the 100MB deal, there is no way that will be enough. 500MB will suit most general users. BBM USES INTERNET but some networks offer extra packages on top of your deal to include bbm use, but not for free.

Have a look here and see if there's any deals that suit your needs, I've turned on some filters that will prob's suit your needs best.
