i need help with facebook (privacy issues)?

i started using facebook in august, and i really do like it, but there isnt one fucking hint of privacy, everything i do, for example i post on someones wall, it shows up exactly what i say to everyone i know, and every photo comment. the same with my friends, i can see everything they do, which i dont want to its just annoying there is no privacy what so ever, i dont want a conversation on the front page for no reason. is there any setting i can enable/disable to stop this?

Go to Settings > Privacy Settings > News Feed and Wall and uncheck all the things you don't want to be published on your friends Home page News Feed or on your own profile's news feed. Hope this helps.
