Am I the only one who had it happen overnight?

Like one day I had a new personality, new look, and I started to get more attention from boys? I've always ran with the popular group I guess but I'm not one of the knock outs so I never had boyfriends or anything. Then seriously within the past like 2 weeks I look different and like tons of boys are talking to me and poking me and stuff on facebook..I haven't changed at all and it's kind of overwhelming. Is this how it happened for you? My mom has always said that one day they will notice me and stuff like that I never believed her I guess until now..
No I don't mean that a poke on facebook is flirting. But where I go to school that what everyone does to say they like you I guess..kind of weird now that I think about it.

I used to be really ugly, like REALLY ugly. But I grew my hair out and dyed it a decent color and started working out and stuff and over the summer, literally overnight, all these boys started messaging me on facebook and at school everyone started noticing me. I remember I was walking down the halls with one of my guy friends and I was holding his hand just playing around and all of his friends were like, "Who is that?", asking if I was new or something. Just randomly I started getting all of this attention because I got my braces off and I had a personality change so I feel you there.

So a poke on Facebook means flirting? My lesbian friend poked me a while back. Oh joy.

It didn't happen overnight for me.

For me it worked over summer. I remember in Elementary school I was never popular and I was really shy but the minute I started middle school, I don't know why but people just started to like look up too me and I turned popular and less shy. Now I'm the most popular in the whole school. When I started middle school I got a new attitude and look and I've been notticed a lot too

I honestly don't think this is anything to worry about.

I think at one time in our life we have a new "awakening". We just have a new look and view on life. That has happened to me a few times. But never over night.

Looking at my own kids just recently I have seen this in one of my daughters. She just seems a little bit older and more mature.
