type in groups in the search area and then click on the groups logo and hit make a group

Go to the Facebook website. Look at the bottom left and you'll see an icon next to a video camera icon. Click on the icon next to the video camera icon and there will be a button at the top right that says, "Create a New Group". Click on that button.
