Why has my ex blocked me on facebook when we are not even facebook friends?

He called me out of the blue and told me he still cares about me etc. even though he has a girlfriend. I did not know what to say. A few days after not being able to stop thinking about him I sent him an email on facebook (even though he is not my facebook friend) just saying hi and hope he is well (nothing romantic). He didn't respond, he just blocked me...why?

its his way of getting rid of you. i know it sounds harsh but hes trying to show that hes not intersted or upset or that he doesnt want you anymore. i know its harsh..

cos hes a dick and phoned you because he wanted some excitement in his life. it thrills him to know that he makes someone else think of him. you sent him a message-there was his proof that you thought of him. he blocked you in the hope that it would make you think of him more.

do yourself a favour and ignor it.

Obviously he had deep feelings for you and has a tough time thinking about you. The new gf might just be his way of hoping to move on instead of thinking about missing you and he just needs time to move on.

Probably so his girlfriend would not get upset, or maybe she asked him about you so he blocked you to keep from having a problem with her.

How do you know it WAS him... many people have the same name.
How do you know he has still been on facebook.
How do you know he got the message.
How do we know why he may want nothing to do with you.
