FACEBOOK TIMELINE. I thought it was supposed to automatically change in December?

So, whatever happened to fb mandatory timeline? I remember in December, when I got it, it said that it was going to be happen like 7 days from then and we had an opportunity to get it now and make sure everything is in place the way we want it before they changed it. Well, it's March 5th and I still see friends with the old version. What's the word on this? Anybody know what's going on?

There is no official set date when everyone will be converted, this is because facebook fear the huge backlash that would occur if they converted everyone at the same time, so instead they are trying to convince people to switch to timeline either of their own accord (actually by pressuring them into it, by telling them all their friends are using it and you will have to change soon anyway) or by tricking them into it when they add a facebook app like pinterest, or words with friends.

Luckily there is currently a solution to Timeline. Although you cant change back completely to the old style profile, you can view all personal timeline pages in the faster loading and more user friendly, old style profile page format in your own browser via this simple guide:

Although this kind of changes have never been optional, until this moment Facebook did not inform about any established date for the Timeline upgrade to be mandatory for all users.
