How come I never get invited to hang out?

Well I'm just becoming a part of a group of friends (they've been a group of friends probably since elementary school or middle school and i didnt go to elementary or middle school with any of them because i moved here 5 years ago)(we're sophomores in high school) (i met them in marching band, and one is my best friend and i have classes with most of them). Like i'm starting to get friendly with mostly all of the group. They always hang out and im not invited. Is that because im not fully a part of the group yet? And also sometimes a few of them (one who is in my bio class, and sometimes my best friend will do it too) will tell me about how they hung out and stuff. Does that mean im getting closer to being invited to hang out with them? Like i'll see pictures and sometimes videos that they post on facebook of them hanging out and having so much fun and ill feel left out even though i know that im not officially a part of the group yet. And it's not like they dont like me because i fit in perfectly with them, we are all quirky and weird. We always have a good time. We are always joking around and laughing too. So i dont understand why i dont get invited yet. Is it just something that takes time, like for them to accept me as a full member of the group and start to invite to hang out? And i dont want to get new friends, i love my friends and i do have other friends but i dont really hang out with them outside of school that much either. I really fit in with this group and i dont think that there is another group of friends quite like them.

I hang out every once in a while, but Im kind of in the same boat, not very many people ask me to hang out with them.

Why don't you invite them to hang out at your house or arrange some other type of outing via facebook or twitter - people love people that do all the arranging for them.

That happened to me! but I think the reason why is that they don't know you well enough!
nothing starts from 100%
but try hanging out with them in school more often, then you should try suggesting places to hang out at. Like try to make the first move with them
