Why do women feel the need to stand with a friend on their facebook profile pic?
why do women (mainly) feel the need to have someone else next to them on their facebook profile pic, like a friend. and most of the time it isnt even a very close friend, more like a party buddy, roomate or aquaintance. i've noticed im one of the few women who is alone in my facebook profile pic. why do you think this is?

I doubt that this personal experience hardly entails any wide-reaching truth about what women prefer on Facebook or if this instance is even an female issue. Nevertheless, if you want a truthful answer to this question, ask the women that you notice with friends joining them in their Facebook pictures about why they prefer to display such pictures because only they can read their own mind and explain their reasoning.

Just like my Old friend put up a pic of her and her "Boyfriend" when in fact her old pic she had up was really great. The pic depicts them being like they know eachother and love eachother so much when in fact they barley know eachother at all.

i've noticed this. i think they are insecure and view facebook as a popularity contest and think it is reality when it is not.

It's actually safer to stand with a group of people in your profile pic. Then creepers don't know which one is you.
