How to persuade my parents to let me have twitter?

I'm 13 and I have fb but my parents are very over protective!! Help!! They say I can't have twitter cos I have fb!! Please!! I need like 10 reasons why I should have both!

I don't understand your parents logic. If you use this as well as facebook what's the difference if you use another social media source?

Ya, Twitter does kinda suck. I have one, don't use it much. xD Nothing really to do besides "tweet"

Well that's a bit dumb. If anything I'd sooner allow a 13 year old to have Twitter than to have FB, because Twitter is "cleaner" - no apps, no huge profile pictures, no detailed biographical info given out (unless you're dumb enough to enter it manually), no games or anything like that.
