How would I aim my camera to get this angle?
I'm trying to take a picture of myself for my profile on Facebook and I can't get the angle I want. This would be the angle:

Mount your camera on a tripod so that the lens axis is in line with your face.
Use someone else as a stand in while you compose your shot. Make sure that the background is far enough a way from you so that it is not in focus Manually focus the lens on your stand in Set your self-timer and sit in front of the camera It makes things easier if you use a remote shutter release and prop a mirror next to your camera so you can see your poses The actual "angle" is parallel to your face. I believe your best bet is have someone else shoot it for you.

She's not holding the camera. That's the problem. Look at the picture, no arms sticking out.
Use a tripod. Sit down. Level the camera lens to a half-inch above your eyes so it's slightly pointing downwards to you. |
