No longer getting facebook notifications on HTC desire c?

Since the end of last week I've no longer been getting facebook notifications on my phone, such as messages when somebody comments on my status or other statuses that I've commented on, I've tried turning my phone off then on again which used to work, I've cleared the cache and data, disabled the other facebook apps but still nothing and it's driving me mad. Does anybody know what I can do to get it working again?
Explaining what to do in simple terms would be great. I have already deleted and re-installed the app did that last night, no change.

Its that your internal sim card is not sending proper wave impulses from the memory of the phone to the "brain" of the phone. You want to change the external wiring of the rotoioner(responsible for the notifications) in order that the input 1 is attached to the input 3. Happends quite a lot umong the desire, iPhone 3G, and the razor.

If you are using the facebook app then please usinstall it and then install it again.
If you are receiving the notifications using your CDMA connection then there is a reason that facebook disabled your notification

Then goto the settings of Facebook Account and type the number again and you will again start receiving the Updates soon.

Enter to "Facebook" application in your HTC, "settings," and then look for "Sync;" make sure it is checked.
