How to make pictures and posts on Facebook to where ONLY your friends can see them?

I get alot of friend requests on Facebook from people I don't know and all my photos and statuses, etc are where everyone can see them. I want it to where nobody can see them except for people on my friends list. How do I change it to only friends can see it?

On Posts when you go to Post a Status Click on the Current Setting it Will Say what privacy Setting you have it Set to Example Public Or Something Else and Click on it and Set it to Friends Only if its Not Set to that Already as Far as Photos Goes Go to Each Album And Go Into the Album and Change the Privacy Settings on the top click on the box than change it to Friends Only if the box is not inside the albums than its on the Main photo Page

I haven't got a top click to change the view in the album?? The only way appears to be if I change each photo? Which I don't want to spend time doing! Any further advice please?
