Facebook privacy setting!?

So i currently have my wall privacy set to only me. so anyone that posts on my wall... only that person, anyone they tag and i can see the post. But sometimes someone would post something funny that i want my friends to see too! i cant figure out how to change the privacy settings for individual posts. i tried hitting the little symbol (right now its a gear, cuz its custom settings) and it says who can see the post, but i cant click anything. is there a way to change privacy settings the way i want to? i want to filter out posts on my wall before i choose whether or not i want my friends to see it

OK....if you don't want your friends to see everything, may I suggest TWO Facebook accounts? You could have one that is set so only you see posts, then you can have the second one so you can share posts you approve of.

The only problem with that is getting your friends to only send things to you "Private" account name.

you can only change the privacy settings for a post if you created the post - you cant edit it if someone else creates the post, which is why some people use the setting that prevent other people from starting new posts on their wall
