Girls: Do you prefer when a guy asks to kiss you or just does it?
I honestly have been thinking about it and to me Im sort of stuck in the middle on this one. The girl I like and I like each other but she can't date because her parents don't want her to and she wants to wait until we are older (18) and focus on developing our friendships. Besides we don't go to the same high school so I understand. Anyways we do all the cute stuff together. Before she was convinced I wouldn't like her later on since Im 16 and surrounded by plenty girls but I held it out and she started to like me. We held hands during ice skating, sent several hearts back and forth, in fact we end every conversation with them, we have nicknames we specially made for each other, she bought me a lot of gifts and I got her a diamond necklace, we sent like 10 thousand Facebook messages over the summer, and we kissed 7 times. I was her first kiss and she's the first girl I kissed since I was 5. On the day of our first kiss, I kissed her cheek the previous night before while holding her hand ice skating and while we were playing basketball she at the most random moment ran up to me and kissed me on my cheek while her best friend watched. So we went to the near by bench and had three long kisses. Every kiss after that it was planned out with me asking for one, setting a time and place to kiss. It seems kind of awkward but although we hung out over the summer, we were with her friends a lot so we didn't kiss at all in front of them. All of them were in the basement of our church. Although we both really enjoyed it there have been opportunities where I could have just lip-kissed her. Like at ice skating but she doesn't like kissing in front of people so thats why we kiss in the basement. (privacy) She actually would prefer if I just stole a kiss instead of asking for it as long as its in an appropriate moment and environment in which we are alone have a quick moment. However, we are never really entirely alone. Also I know Im the first guy she's ever kissed but sometimes I feel like I put in all the "emotional" work into our "boyfriend-girlfriend friendship". She never stole a kiss from me other than that one day and never really took the initiative. Even when we do kiss I have to initiate the kiss. Her only explanation is Im the guy but Im sure as a guy, it does feel more embracing when a girl does the same back. So girls, did you ever kiss a guy, particularly your boyfriend, without telling him just for a surprise? Or do you believe that since he is a guy he must initiate everything? Although I do feel this is mainly a guy's priority it adds some "fun" and "spice" to the excitement when a girl does it. I feel she's putting in her 50 cents in it. In fact she said she was going to initiate a kiss one time we met up in the basement, but I moved in before she did. Is this true or is she just nervous and doesn't know what to do?

If hes a shy guy, its okay if he asks. But if he's a bold guy he should just do it
