How can i get lots of people to follow me on Twitter?

When i first made my account i immediatly followed as many people as i could hoping to get them to follow me in return. I was following 2000 people and i had 400 following me, so i thought i would unfollow them all and then follow different people to have them follow me to increase my number of followers, but then my account got suspended.

So i made another one called IAmDamianHerman.
I have 0 followers and i am following only 12 people.

Can you please give me suggestions on how to gets tons of followers?

1. Following and unfollowing repeatedly in short term can get you suspended.
2. The new your account more is the chance to get suspended
3. Less followers count can also result in suspension if you repeat point 1

Once you follow 2000 users, you will not be able to follow more unless your
own followers count is good.
Twitter doesn't tell what are exact conditions for suspensions for security reasons.

My advise.. Continue your point 1.. but at a slow rate.
If you maintain gap of 2 days between following and unfollowing, you will be safe
Don't follow more users on a single day....upto 500 is safe....above 500 danger zone
Remember new accounts have more possibility to get suspended
