Are facebook apps that can track who has viewed your profile legit?

I see a few of them. Are they accurate? Are they legitemate? Even if they are trying to scam you, do they give you the correct info on who has seen your profile?

I find that somewhat creepy.

No they don't. They just base it on a person's account or something like that, or just randomly generate numbers. I've had friends do it before and my account had exactly the same amount of views on like 3 of them. They're all fake.

This is one of the biggest lies in Facebook. It is not true. That information is not accessible to developers.

Facebook has said many times that they will never allow this information to be made available as it not only goes against Facebook's own privacy policy, but also against US privacy protection and EU data protection laws
