For cocktail dresses,I really love a form fitting dress with straps & a square neckline,& a hem that comes right above my knee.For party dresses,I love anything asymmetrical,like a form fitting one shoulder dress.And I really love any kind of bandage dress.And they'd work for cocktail attire as well.I'm a bit old for prom,but I've noticed that girls now seem to be doing alot more shorter dresses for prom.So what I think looks cute for a young girl that's going to prom is a fun,short strapless dress,either with a fitted bodice & a fuller shorter skirt,or a short strapless sequin dress.
