how can i block my family from seeing anything on my facebook timeline?

i want to have my family on facebook but i dont want them to be able to see anything at all on my profile. is there anyways i can block them from seeing everything?

Yes, go to you privacy settings and it has options for all of that stuff and when you change it, use customized settings and type in all of the names of the people you want to hide and make it the default setting.

Ellie is correct although a faster solution is to
Create a list (homepage-left info panel click friends-more-create list) and add all your family to it...change privacy settings - go to timeline and tagging - edit "Who can see what others post on your timeline" -choose custom and select "Hide this from" select the family list in the drop down menu.
If you add family members to a list it makes it easier to control content they see on your profile.
