No, it's not. You should be in the kitchen. Technology and learning are for men.

As long as it doesn't look anything like mohammed I wouldn't of thought there'd be much of an issue with it. But i'm not muslim so wouldn't really know.

Why on earth would you want to do that? Baby bores really are the worst. I couldn't care less what islam has to say about it, by the way.

All Muslims should be scanned. Especially at air ports.

I know of many muslims, trustworthy and respected members of the community, who are on facebook, and have photos of themselves and their wives and families on their pages.

Law regarding images is varied, but as the Embassy of the Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques allow photographs on flickr, I see no problem. Images as an icon for worship are wrong. Images as an illustration are not.

If your husband says something "is not a good thing to do in Islam", ask him to EXPLAIN, don't just say "Oh OK" and go and ask total strangers on the internet.

Make him take responsibility for his beliefs. Maybe he's not quite sure either. So he should ask his imam. If the imam isn't sure, he should find out.

Be careful if you would ask your husband.
Islamic husband doesn't like smart wives.
And he can beat you if he feels like it.

What is the general ruling on pictures, and by general I mean when necessary and when not necessary?
Answer:

Making an image with a spirit us unlawful, regardless whether it is done with a camera, a writing instrument, or an instrument used for carving or sculpting. Possessing pictures is also unlawful. If someone, out of necessity, needs to keep a passport photo or identity photo for example, then he can do so, but he must have a sense of hatred in his heart for pictures.

What is the ruling concerning hanging a picture on the wall? What is the ruling concerning owning pictures of people?
Answer:

It is not allowed to hang a picture or keep a picture of any being that possesses a soul. It is obligatory to destroy such pictures. This is because the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alaihi-wasallam) said,
“Do not leave any image, but [instead] efface it.” [1] It was confirmed in the hadith of Jabir radiyallaahu ‘anhu that,

“That because the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alaihi-wasallam) prohibited having pictures in houses.” [2]

Therefore, all pictures meant for remembrance should be torn to pieces or burnt. However, pictures that are needed out of necessity, such as for official identification purposes and so forth, may be kept.
