A random stranger from Cambodia is chatting to me on Facebook?
She says she just wants to make friends, I don't get it?

First she wants to be friends and before you know it she will be hitting you up for money to feed her family or to buy a plane ticket to come visit you. Be cautious.

first off, dont send any money.
sometimes people pretend to be someone else, get you to like them, then after a while you will hear the sob story, such and such has happened and i need money. if she has a picture up on her page, open another web browser and then go to http://www.google.com click on images and drag her picture over to the search bar, if her picture comes up on lots of different sites, or there is more than 1 of her image found, i wouldn't trust her. anyone who randomly adds you and starts to talk to you on facebook is usually something suspicious. |

So block her.
What's the question here? Chances are it is not a Her anyway. You don't need bogus random people in your life, much less scammers or Internet predators. Concentrate your attention on the real people in your life. |

Leave well alone, first she approaches you just by random without any visible connection sounds well fishy. Do you have any friends/family travelling in the region or have passed through recently that may have been using their email account and someone has hacked it and is now going through the process of trawling their contacts for being lined for possible yet unknown motives.
It seems to be happening alot to men in general on facebook because i answered a question recently from an american guy about his sudden messages via chat from an unknown lady who suddenly appeared to be especially friendly from columbia. He was asking pretty much the same as you like why and how. i've read about the elaborate scams used on dating sites which people have copped onto by now and guess the scammers have evolved onto social networks now sort like a natural progression. Miss cambodia could be anywhere but cambodia like africa or camden high street you never know. |

she wants to make friend, what part you dont understand? Or your inner heart says since she's CAMBODIAN, she must be a scam?
MAKE UP YOUR NARROWED MIND! |
