Why does Facebook make me like random groups?

Sometimes I see weird unknown groups on my newsfeed that I don't remember liking at all. it makes me randomly like groups that are like weird promotion, or events or not well known bands. It's so weird because there's no way I'd like these groups. I've changed my password and I'm sure that I haven't liked something on another website. Does this happen to anyone else? I keep seeing new groups pop up that I haven't actually liked.

Next time it happens, contact facebook about it. Make sure you include the url of the group page in your message to them. Type in the url of the group's page if you can see it on your profile, try not to click on the link! Clicking on dodgy links is the most common way spamming viruses get onto your profile, so be careful.
