How to cope/deal with an inferiority complex when you compare yourself to someone's accomplishments?
Ever have those moments when you stumble upon someone's accomplishments, and it makes you feel inadequate?
That happened to me a few days ago, when I found an old friend's Facebook page, and I was awestruck by her talent in artwork. Although I'm the creative type, I'm not nearly as talented in art as she is. Seeing her artwork made me feel a bit inadequate. How does one deal with this type of feeling? Ads |

Two steps - first, stop comparing yourself to others! Second, find something you enjoy and excel at and pursue it. Don't worry if someone else is better than you, someone always is. Do it because it makes you happy and don't care so much about other people

I know how you feel, I'm the same with my best mate.
The best thing to do is just stop comparing yourself to others. If you enjoy it, why does it matter what anyone else does. Somebody is always going to be better and there will always be people who are worse. Like I said if you enjoy it, who cares |

Figure out something lacking in her artwork and improve upon it.

you just have to be complementary about it and wish her well - wish everyone well because its a waste of time feeling inferior - don't worry your chance to shine will come but you have to be ready - that's how life is
