My facebook profile was reported as fake, how do i get it back?

When I tried to log in today, it said someone had reported my profile as fake. Which is complete bull$hit I have had this account for 7 years. Anyways, I emailed facebook and they said I need to upload or send them a photo of my "government issued ID" I don't feel comfortable doing this, just because some stupid idiot decided to fuhk with my account. What should I do, has anyone had this happen to them before?

You should take a picture of it, but tape a small piece of paper over your important information (Social security numbers should be covered up until they last four numbers, addresses, etc.). Don't take too long to respond! They might think you had to do something to get that ID.
