Buying Twitter Followers - are there ANY sites that AREN'T scams?

My little cousin who's 14, he told me about how u can pay like $40 and get 1000 followers on twitter or something... my first reaction was that it was a scam. so i told him not to do it! but then i found out he used his dad's credit card and bought 1000 followers. turns out he didn't gain anything. but his twitter wasnt hacked... his dad wasn't too pleased to see $40 was taken out of his account!

Anyway, i want to know, is there even ONE website that is legit? has anyone tried buying followers and it actually works??

That would honestly be a waste of money. If you're using Twitter for business, then the number of followers you have is just a decoration. It's not about the quantity but the quality of followers you have. There are lots of Free ways you could gain followers if you like to gain followers. It will take a lot of consistency to do so.

There all scams paying to have followers on Twitter is a waste of time. If you want followers simply go on Twitter and start following people you find interesting. Post interesting tweets and you'll start to get followers. And unlike those fake followers your cousin paid for these followers will be real people.
