My friend gets over 300 likes on Facebook from people he doesn't know.. How...?

So my friend who is just an average guy makes statuses and he instantly gets around 300 likes on it. Someone asked him if it's some kind of hack thing and he said you're close... but he's not telling anybody and everyone is wondering. Some of the people who like it are people he knows, but most of them are randoms with really weird names. Does anybody know how he actually does this? They aren't his real friends, some are random musicians and stuff.. It doesn't really make much sense O_O

When he shares things, they get like 5-7 likes lol.
That was a useless answer, I asked a question and you completely gave me some crap why it matters.. It doesn't I'm just wondering if there's some kind of hack or shortcut way around facebook to somehow give him likes. It's just curiosity so get over it and just answer my question...? Lol.
No, it's nothing about having a lot of friends. He has 1.6k friends, that's not that many. He said to me in chat 3...2...1... Then got 250 likes in like 2 seconds... Hoooooww?!?! It's bugging me just how he does it lol.
They're all random people from different languages and crap, definitely no1 that would like a status that says "Hello "

What does it matter? It's Facebook. Getting likes on your page is the dumbest thing to cross this world. Be yourself and be happy that some people like your status's. It shows that they listen. You don't need 100-300 likes to see who notices you.

That's what you get for adding random people on Facebook. I have over 2,400 friends and get somewhat a lot of likes and stuff on my Facebook. I'm a model on there though so idk.
