Facebook privacy question?
Hi, I would like to put a picture of me as my facebook profile picture but i dont want stalkers seaching my name then saving my photo in their computer.. Im just wondering if there is a privacy setting so people cant copy your picture? I would not like someone stealing my identity.. And i really do like facebook but i dont want stalkers any suggestions? Thanks in advnceSmile

There isn't an option to prevent someone from taking your pic and saving it to their computer. What you can do is change the privacy setting for your "Profile Picture" photo album to "Friends Only." Account>Privacy Settings>Customize Settings>In the middle of the page there's something that says "Edit album privacy for existing photos"...click that and change your settings. I know this isnt what you want, but it does prevent someone from clicking on your profile pic and having access to a bigger version of your pic and it prevents them from seeing/stealing your previous profile pics.

You can also change the setting that allows everyone on facebook to search for you. Account>Privacy Settings>at the top of the page it says "Connecting on Facebook" then theres a "View Settings" option..click that and change the first setting (Search for you on facebook) to whatever you want.
