What IPhone apps are considered streaming?

I just got my son and IPhone and the saleswomen said that he will use up his internet data if he goes to apps that are streaming. She only told me youtube and pandora are considered streaming apps. Is FaceBook also considered streaming?

it won't be used up if he is connected to a WiFi hotspot

and yes, youtube, netflix, hulu plus, etc

anything with moving video, sound etc would be considered streaming

no, facebook isn't streaming, unless you are watching a facebook video.
