Can't download facebook onto my nokia phone?

I just got a new phone- Nokia Lumia 800- and to use it you have to sign in with your windows live I.D. and I am 16 years old. I go to the app highlights store and try to download facebook, twitter, any apps onto my phone but it keeps saying
"Sorry, you need to do this from your computer because your account indicates that you are a child. To join Xbox LIVE, go to xbox.com and sign in with your Windows Live ID. To purchase content from Marketplace, sign in at zune.net or using the Zune software on your PC."

So i went on my computer, signed into xbox.com with my email and it tells me that I need parental consent so I went and made an older account of course, used that, and then when I finally successfully logged into the xbox website, I realise 'how the heck am i going to download apps from here!?'

Someone PLEASE help me, all I wanted to do was download a couple of simple applications for my phone !!! :/

change your age 16 to 18 then on ur account settings. then u can download
