We've openly talked about our facebooks, but neither of us have requested each other as friends. And that conversation has never come up. I honestly don't mind not being his friend, not like I'm hiding anything, but I feel like facebook causes so much drama! Is this weird?
Lol i cant believe Im asking a question about facebook. Its so stupid!! But still, I've thought about it often enough to want opinions from other people

This is actually very common. In fact people have been having relationships in real life and not on facebook since around 1066 just after the Battle of Hastings.

My boyfriend and I only use facebook to pick on people anyways. The social media trend of the 2000's are a pox on real relationships.

My opinion is it's different and a little strange you and your boyfriend aren't friends, but I think it's okay.

no its not weird, there;s a few reasons why i think this happens with loving couples lol, one person does not want the other to know whos profiles their viewing, because the other person will start asking questions who, why, what, where, also couples know each other intimately so a person on a pc cant act out fantasies if their partner is present or has acsess to their partners home page/? neither person maybe cheating but the mystic of the computer?? you start to keep for yourself your own little private world, and unfortunatly when u get to this stage you wont want anyone evesdropping,

It's not weird at all. In fact, it could be very smart to not get caught up in all the drama that some people love to create.

Just enjoy each other in real life.
