How do I stop facebook telling people I have joined groups in the newsfeed?
I see groups I want to join but don't particularly want everyone to know everytime I join them, I think it's quite annoying. Is there a setting to stop this?
Thanks.

Go ahead and wipe off all new activities, after that log out.

Log in again in about 5minutes. Then go to settings and
customized what you want. Simple.

Best Of luck!

Unfortunately, facebook won't let you set it default to not show these things in the newsfeed. What I do, is I go to my profile and delete the things off manually so they will be removed from the newsfeed. It's not a great solution, but it works until facebook changes the setting.
