Why is my friend, who has a girlfriend, talking to me like he's single?
I'm pretty confused.
So I used to like this guy a lot and we used to flirt and I thought he liked me too. Well he lead me on and ended up getting a girlfriend. Things got kind of awkward after that. I was heartbroken. So I tried my best to get over him and ended up ignoring him (immature, I know.) When I wouldn't talk to him, he would try to talk to me. Now that I think about it, he had been a jerk to me at several occasions.. I guess we had this weird love/hate relationship.

Months later, he lead a lesson at our small groups Bible study about loving each other. So that night I sent him a text apologizing for being so immature about everything and he said it was okay and that he was sorry for being so rude to me. So then we were friends again. Well Sunday morning at church, he was being ridiculously nice to me. Then Sunday night at a youth party we had, he was also being super sweet. His girlfriend wasn't there and I was starting to think they had broke up. We were together the *entire* day. Literally. We sat by each other during service, and played games at the party. We talked and talked and talked and it was a good day.

I eventually had to ask about his girlfriend, so I went for it. I said 'where's <girlfriend's name>?' and he said she was sick. So clearly they were still dating. I even went on Facebook on my phone to check their relationship status. I'm seeing him tonight again and don't know what's going to happen.

I thought I was over him and had even developed a crush on another guy!
But... 'feelings that come back are feelings that never left.'

Thank you soooo much for taking your time to read this.

I am also a christian youth. this dude is all over the shop honestly.

you had a Bible study about loving each other? sure love him as a brother but don't let me quote
"We were together the *entire* day. Literally. We sat by each other during service, and played games at the party. We talked and talked and talked and it was a good day." <--dont do all that stuff its just giving him an excuse to flirt with you.

if your serious about him talk to him about it, and possibly leaving his girl friend if he feels the same way, i mean think bout it feeling these feelings dont do you no good if hes got a gf. just read your bible and pray to the lord about this, god always shows his ways we just have to listen. just take it easy okay? Smile
